Procedures must be in place to verify the physical integrity of container structure prior to stuffing & include the reliability of the locking mechanisms of the doors.
A 10-points inspection process (1-10) is required for all containers and must include verification that there is no damage to container that would compromise cargo integrity, as well as confirmation that there is no foreign material in container.
A 07-points inspection process (11-17) is required for all POs and must include verification that there is no damaged/deformed boxes that are loaded into the containers.
Photos must be obtained after each point inspected.
When taking the photos, it must be setting with time/date stamps for traceability.
The report must be completed by vendors with signature of inspector and saved in PDF format.
Vendor must send the report to Article for each shipment/PO within 3 working days.
